Bryce's Western Day

On Friday, Bryce had Western Day at his school. It was a fun filled day with cowboy games and to top it off a western style meal - chili! Bryce actually tried it and liked it! He must be a true Texan!

Thomas

Last weekend we spent the Day Out with Thomas the Train. Grant was in "train" heaven! Even though it rained the entire time he had a great time! It was so fun to see his face when Thomas pulled into the station - priceless!

Arrow of Light

Braeden earned his Arrow of Light as well as the Super Achiever Award for Cub Scouts. It was a nice ceremony where all the boys bridged over to Boy Scouts. We are all so proud of his accomplishment! Way to go Braeden!

Snow Day #2

Today LISD and CFB cancelled school - YEAH! The boys were eager to play outside again. I was sick of all the wet clothes and the snow through out my house, but how often does it snow like this in Texas - 12 inches a record. Jackie called to see if we wanted to go to Creekview HS to go sledding because they had the best hills. So, packed up the boys and headed out for some fun. The boys loved it - they never had been sledding before. Grant was a little dare devil - the sled would go so fast that a few times he ended up in water. By the end we were all soaking wet and had to strip Grant and wrap him up in a blanket. Thank God Jackie was soooo prepared. We had a fun morning!

Snow Day

I had to take a break from posting Christmas to show off the boys on their "Snow Day." LISD closed today, but CFB didn't so I had to let them run around in the snow before I left for work. They had a ball!
