Braeden's Last Tournament

Braeden's summer tournament won 2nd place. They played really hard and lost by 2 runs.
He had an awesome season as pitcher and 1st baseman! Way to go Bubby!!!

Braeden's School Years

I thought this would be cool to give to all of Braeden's teachers at the end of his 5th Grade Year. They have made such an impact on him and really have helped him succeed in school! It's funny to see how he has changed throughout the years - not much - just taller!!!

Hard Day - Full Tummy

Poor little Grant played so hard, didn't take a nap, and then finally fell asleep after eating his spaghetti. I didn't have the heart to wake him, so I just reclined his high chair so he could sleep for a little bit.

Bryce's Swimming Lessons

Bryce took swimming lessons again from Miss Amy. He loves her! She is so good with the kids and really teaches them how to swim. I could really see an improvement how he is in the water when we take him swimming at our neighborhood pool!

Everyday the boys want to go out and ride their bikes and scooters. The only problem is I have to go out with Grant and it's so dang hot here! I try and go on a walk early in the morning or in the evening. They love just going up and down the street. Braeden is getting to where I let him ride around the block!

Thomas Bed

Ever since Grant broke his leg he has been sleeping with me - that's been 3 months.....I'm ready to get my bed back and get back into a routine. Before his accident he was such a good sleeper - I would just pop him in his crib and he would go to sleep. Now, he flips himself out - he landed on his head the other day....so we decided to take the front off the crib to make it kind of like a day bed - we even got Thomas the Train sheets to maybe entice him to stay in his bed. Well, he liked it for about 5 minutes and then went running into my bed. We are still working on keeping him in his bed - hopefully, by the time school starts he will be sleeping in his own room!

Firetrucks Galore

Yesterday was Bryce's last class at the Rec Center with Miss Jill. She had a special treat for them - a visit from the Carrollton Fire Department. The kids were so excited when the fireman put on all his gear. He even ran the sirens!
Today was Grant's last Rec Center Class with Miss Jill. He was in hog heaven. All the fireman thought he was the cutest little guy - "Future Fireman" is what they said! They even let him sit in the truck and put the seat belt on. It was hard to get him out of the truck - they finally bribed him with the sound of the siren!!!!
